UNBROKEN

To me his book has everything: sports, history, suspense, incredible hardship and sadness, laughter & happiness. I knew very little about the war in the Pacific but was intrigued so I picked up this book. I got so much more than I ever expected.

It is the story of Louis Zamperini's remarkable life as an athlete, airman and prisoner of war. He's such a likable guy with such perseverance and resiliency. This is the best book I've read in several years.

Since Virginia is reading this now, I'm getting updates as to how unreal Louis Zamperini's journey was.  Just incredible.

No wonder Hollywood will be making a movie of this story soon, but as usual, I'll bet the book will be better.
